Dr. Hugh Cort Statement to Iowa Christian Alliance

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I greatly look forward to meeting you at the House Party you are giving me at the West Des Moines Library, 4000 Mills Parkway, West Des Moines, Iowa from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM Thursday evening August 2. I appreciate all that you have done and are doing for the Christian cause. God is working through us, and His purposes will be fulfilled!

I am a Republican Candidate for President of the United States. The Lord has given me a very important message to give to America. This message is that America has gotten so far away from God and His protection, what with abortion, homosexual marriage, and many other sins, that destruction is coming on America a million times worse than 9/11. I am a counter-terrorism expert and I work with Dr. Paul Williams, author of Osama's Revenge: The Next 9/11 and The Day of Islam: The Annihilation of America and the Western World. We have learned that Osama bin Laden has a plan which he calls "The American Hiroshima" where he blows up 7 to 10 American cities with suitcase nukes. There is a strong possibility he has already smuggled these bombs through the porous Mexican border and they are here, probably hidden in mosques in the cities he has targeted. I will explain this later in this speech, and also you can go to www.stopdoomsday.com for further details.

Unfortunately, it appears that the FBI is dropping the ball on Osama's coming "American Hiroshima" attack just like they dropped the ball on 9/11. The FBI is so politically correct that it refuses to search inside the mosques in Washington and New York and the other cities Osama has targeted. We have met several times with the FBI, and they say they don't want to violate the Constitutional rights of the Muslims, and that Federal judges are reluctant to give search warrants because the mosques are "holy places of worship". We believe there is sufficient evidence to justify searching these mosques to see if there are any suitcase nuclear bombs in them. That is one reason I am running for President, to bring public pressure on the FBI to do their job and search these mosques.

Dr. Williams, my colleague, met with Pat Robertson in the fall of last year and gave him the information about Osama's coming "American Hiroshima" attack. Then in January Pat Robertson gave his New Year's prediction that millions of Americans will die in 2007 in terror attacks which could be nuclear. John Hagee, in his book Jerusalem Countdown, in the second chapter "An American Hiroshima?" quotes Dr. Williams for four pages.

Another reason I am running for President is to bring public pressure on Michael Chertoff and the Department of Homeland Security to warn Americans how to survive a nuclear attack by terrorists. Vice President Dick Cheney has said a nuclear attack or biological attack by terrorists is the greatest danger we Americans face, so why then has Michael Chertoff not told us what to do in the event, God forbid, of a nuclear attack by terrorists?

When the media asked Chertoff what to do in the event of a nuclear attack by terrorists, Chertoff said there is nothing you can do, everyone would be killed. Well, a study has been done that showed if a ten kiloton suitcase bomb (Hiroshima was 13 kilotons) was detonated in Washington, D.C., everyone in the District would be killed, but 99% of the 5 million people in the Washington suburbs would survive the intial blast. If you stay inside your house for three days, the radiation decreases, and you can come outside for short ten minute trips, and after 2 weeks you can come out all the time. But if you come out even for a short trip before three days, you immediately get a fatal dose of radiation and you will die a horrible death over the next two months from radiation sickness. Remember, many many more people died from radiation sickness in Hiroshima than from the initial blast. So we want Chertoff to tell people this, so if a nuclear attack occurs, many people will be saved.

Another reason I am running for President is to push for "The McInerney Plan". My friend, General Tom McInerney, Fox News military analyst, says we will never win the War in Iraq until we deal with Iran, because Iran is blowing up our troops with high tech IEDs called EFPs (explosively formed penetrators), they have 32,000 paid agents in Iraq that are killing our troops, and they are supplying weapons and money and training to the Shiite Mahdi Army and its death squads, and they are also supplying the insurgents with Katyusha rockets and shoulder-fired missiles.

General McInerney goes on to say that Iran will have nuclear weapons in a year or less, and diplomacy and sanctions are obviously not going to work. He says we need to take out Iran's 24 nuclear sites and Ahmadinejad and the Mullahs' headquarters, and that we can do so in a 48 hour bombing campaign. Then the moderates in Iraq can finally take their country back, things will finally settle down in Iraq, we will have stopped Iran from getting nuclear weapons and starting World War III where 200 million or more people may die, and we will immediately win 80% of the War on Terror because Iran does 80% of the world's terror attacks. Don't you wish we had listened to Winston Churchill before World War II when he begged us to stop Hitler before he got big? Instead, we waited until Hitler got big, and then it took 62 million people to die to stop him.

When we stop Iran's massive interference in Iraq, Iraq will settle down. However there are some other things we need to do to get a stable situation, such as stop Syria's interference. Hopefully, after we take out Ahmadinejad and the Mullahs, Syria will get the message and back off Iraq. But if Syria continues sending in 20 to 30 suicide bombers per month into Iraq, as they are doing now, and letting 50% of the foreign terrorists who enter Iraq come in through Syria, we must deal a military lesson to them so they will back off, such as a bombing strike on their military installations so they get the message. Finally, we need adequate troop strength in Iraq, which we have not had since day one. Military textbooks say you need 1 occupying soldier per 40 civilians, which is the ratio we had in Germany after World war II, and that NATO now has in Kosovo. The ratio in Iraq is 1 soldier per 160 civilians. In the Persian Gulf War, we had 697,000 American soldiers and 220,000 Coalition soldiers, and we won the war in two days! Remember the Powell Doctrine of overwhelming force? Since Clinton cut our Army in half, and Bush and Rumsfeld never built it back up, we can't get that many troops. But we can, as Joseph Farah of World Net Daily points out, bring the 240,000 American troops we have overseas in 135 countries (11,000 troops in England, 70,000 in Germany, and 50,000 in Japan, for example) and bring them to Iraq. The "Surge" of 28,000 troops in Iraq is having good effect--we could truly stabilize the place if we had 240,000! Where there is a will there is a way!

We need to take out the Tailiban/Al Qaeda training camps along the Pakistan/Afghanistan border, where ABC News recently showed a suicide bomber school graduation ceremony, where 300 suicide bombers were graduated and sent to do suicide attacks against America, Canada, England, and Germany. They are on their way here now! And we need to go into the North Waziristan province of Pakistan where Osama bin Laden is and take him out!

And we need to win in Iraq, and take out Iran's nuclear facilities, and stop Osama bin Laden's plans for an "American Hiroshima" attack, our we will actually lose the War Against Islamo-Terrorism. If we pull out of Iraq, Al Qaeda and Iran will take over Iraq, and make it a staging ground for terror attacks against the Middle East, Europe, and the U.S. Iran is getting missiles this month from Russia that will enable Iran to hit Europe, and Iran is working on missiles that can hit the United States. Also, if Iran gets nukes, it will give them to their Hezbollah terrorists right here in America! FBI Director Robert Mueller told Congress 9 months ago that Iran's terror network, Hezbollah, has already come through the Mexican border and they are here! If we do not win in Iraq, stop Iran from getting nukes, and make the FBI search the mosques in New York and Washington to see if Osama has suitcase nukes there, we will eventually, and sooner rather than later, be overcome by the Islamo-terrorists who are planning to destroy us. It is our last chance to take a stand and win.

I am also concerned about our huge illegal immigration problem. We need to build a fence the entire length of the Mexican/U.S. border, and adequately staff it with border guards, and let them do their job! My grandfather was a General in World War II, and after the War he was on the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the National Security Council and he worked with President Eisenhower, who deported 80,000 illegals in a year! It can be done! Illegal immigrants have murdered over 41,000 Americans, have committed over a million sex crimes, and make up 30% of our prison population. Over 70 hospitals in California have gone bankrupt and closed because they were swamped with illegals who don't pay. We are paying a fortune to educate the children of illegals. And many terrorists are coming across the Mexican border. As I mentioned previously, FBI Director Robert Mueller told Congress 9 months ago that Iran's terror arm, Hezbollah, has come through the Mexican border and they are here, in America! We must secure the border!

I am also shocked over the massive pork spending of Congress, which has caused us to have the largest budget deficit in history. If I am elected President, I will veto every pork spending bill until Congress finally gets it through their thick, greedy skulls that Pork is Dead! And we will balance the budget! The only thing we are going to spend on is to build our military back to where it was before Clinton cut it in half.

I will forcefully and definitely prove that although the global temperature of the earth has increased by one degree Fahrenheit over the past century, it is not caused by human CO2 emissions, and I will not allow Al Gore and his incorrect theory to ruin our economy with the Kyoto Accord. As Rush Limbaugh pointed out, the polar icecaps of Mars have been shrinking just like Earth's, and they don't have cars or industry or humans--why are they shrinking? Because the sun is going through a period of brighter intensity, as it naturally does, as French researchers have confirmed. Also, the Romans wrote around 100 B.C. that they could grow grapes year round in England to make wine. Then the earth's climate got colder, and no grapes could be grown in England. Then in the Middle Ages warming period around 1200-1300, that was much warmer than today's climate, grapes could again be grown year-round in England. Then it got colder. Now things are a little warmer, and now grapes can be grown 2 months out of the year in England, but not the other 10 months. So it is not nearly as warm now as it has been at times in the past, and back then they did not have cars or heavy industry, so we know CO2 was not the cause.

James Spann, Birmingham, Alabama ABC 3340 weatherman, confirms that over 20,000 thousand scientists have signed a statement saying that global warming is not due to human activities. Isn't it just like Al Gore and the liberals to get the media all worked up about a bunch of nonsense, at a time when Osama bin Laden is planning to blow up American cities, Iranian EFP's ( high-tech IEDs called "explosively formed penetrators") are blowing up our soldiers in Iraq, and Iran, who has sworn to destroy Israel and the United States is soon to have nuclear weapons! And John Edwards, Democratic Presidential candidate, says the War on Terror is just a bumper sticker!

As Christians, we must take a hard look at all the candidates, and see where they stand on the issues. Mitt Romney has been for abortion, or "pro-choice" for most of his life. In January 2007 he said, "Over the last multiple years, as you know, I have been effectively pro-choice." In February 2007 he said, "I am firmly pro-life... I was always for life." In 2006 he passed the Massachusetts health bill, and on the first page it says abortion will be provided by Planned Parenthood (see www.massresistance.org). Romney has been weak on the issue of homosexual marriage and civil unions. He has flip- flopped his position on gun control, and many other issues. Unfortunately, Romney appears to be a chameleon who changes his views according to whichever electorate he is facing at the moment. I don't think we can count on him to pass a Pro-Life Amendment and the Federal Marrige Amendment.

Also, as Phyllis Schlafly of Eagle Forum, and others, such as Herb Titus, founding dean of Pat Robertson's Regent University Law School point out, Mitt Romney "exercised illegal legislative authority" when he directed Massachusetts Justices of the Peace to perform same-sex marriages when requested or 'face personal liability' or be fired. The Massachusetts Supreme Court had merely issued an opinion, and according to the Massachusetts State Constitution the Legislature has the last word, and they did nothing, implying that existing law banning homosexual marriage stands. So Romney took it upon himself to incorrectly issue an executive order which had the effect of bringing homosexual marriage to America. Not even Sodom and Gomorrah had the nerve to call the homosexual relationship marriage, and they were wiped off the face of the earth! As World Net Daily points out, these and other experts credit Romney for being the first person to authorize homosexual marriage in America. Thank you, Mitt Romney! I really don't want to have as President the man who legitimized gay marriage in Massachusetts!

In a similar way, Fred Thompson wants to leave the abortion issue to the states to decide, which is a "cop-out", and Fred's stands on abortion over the years have been very weak. He even did legal work to try to loosen restrictions on abortion during the George H.W. Bush Administration. However he is against gay marriage, which is good.

Rudi Giuliani is for keeping abortion legal, and even said he would pay for his own daughter to have an abortion if necessary. And he is for "domestic partnerships" for homosexuals. Michael Savage, the radio talk show host, said he was not that impressed with Rudi, that anyone could have held people's hands after 9/11. What I would like to see is a mayor who maybe could have prevented 9/11. And many New York firemen say that Rudi did not do a good job after 9/11, and indeed, made many errors. Jim Gilmore, who is now out of the Presidential race, said in May 2007 he believes in the right to abortion in the first 8 to 12 weeks of pregnancy.

Tommy Thompson said in May 2007 that the right to abortion should be left to the states, which is, as we know, a major cop-out. How can we have some states aborting babies and some not? Would not America still be continuing the grievous sin of abortion, killing unborn children in their mothers' wombs? We know that even 2 and 3 month old fetuses feel terrible pain when their arms and legs are torn off by the abortionist's forceps. Just Google the words "Silent Scream", which is an actual ultrasound of a fetus being aborted and you will see. Unborn children feel horrible pain when they are aborted! The study done by people with strong ties to the abortion industry saying that the unborn child does not feel pain until 7 months old is a bunch of baloney. Think about it-- how would you like to have your arms and legs torn off?

Senator Sam Brownback is a great guy, and is very pro-life and pro-marriage. However he has been weak on illegal immigration, and he was against the troop surge in Iraq, although now he says it appears to be doing some good. I do not think he will secure our borders, or stop illegal immigration, or win the War in Iraq, or stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons before it is too late. Also, he does not know how to stop Osama bin Laden's coming attack on the U.S.

Duncan Hunter is good on all the issues, but he doesn't know about Osama's "American Hiroshima" plan and does not know how to stop it. He also will not come out and take the bull by the horns and say unless Iran immediately stops interfering in Iraq, and immediately gives up their nuclear program, we will bomb Iran's nuclear facilities and Ahmadinejad and the Mullahs' headquarters, in order to win the War in Iraq and stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons before it is too late.

Ditto for Mike Huckabee. In addition, even though he says he was the first governor of Arkansas to lower taxes in 160 years, the Club for Growth gives Huckabee bad marks because although he initially lowered taxes, by the end of his ten years in office he had significantly increased taxes (by 37%), and increased government regulation and spending.

So what does Dr. Hugh Cort have that the other candidates don't have? I am not a politician, and that is a good thing. The politicians have let us down in so many ways. I am the only candidate who is clearly and definitely pointing out that if we do not stop the grievous sins of abortion and homosexual marriage, and get America back to God and His protection and blessing, we will lose the War on Terror, and be devastated by the Islamo-terrorists who plan to destroy us. Every time in the Bible when the Kings of Israel pleased God, they got victory in battle. Every time they sinned, and departed from God, they suffered terrible defeat, and were even hauled off in chains to Babylon. We must pass a Pro-Life Amendment, and the Federal Marriage Amendment, in order to get back to God and get His blessing, and victory! The Bible verse for our campaign is 2 Chronicles 7:14: If my people, which are called by my name, will humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

I am the only candidate who will fight tooth and nail to stop abortion. Every single week of my Presidency, every single week, I will talk about the horrors of abortion on the President's weekly radio address. I will point out that even two and three month old fetuses feel the horrible pain of having their arms and legs torn off by the abortionist's forceps, as evidenced when you google "Silent Scream", the ultrasound which shows the unborn baby's pain and scream when the abortionist kills it. This is the ultrasound that made Dr. Nathanson, who had performed over ten thousand abortions, stop killing babies forever and become pro-life.

I will be the William Wilberforce of abortion. Just as Wilberforce, as seen in the wonderful movie "Amazing Grace", worked tirelessly for twenty years to stop the British slave trade, I will give everything I have to stop the travesty of abortion. The very day I am sworn into office I will issue a Presidential Executive Order banning abortion, and an Executive Order banning homosexual marriage. These Orders must be renewed every 60 days, which I will continue to do, as I work tirelessly to pass a Pro-Life Amendment to the Constitution banning all abortion without exception, and pass the Federal Marriage Amendment banning homosexual marriage.

I have compassion for homosexuals, and I believe they should be treated with dignity and respect, as Jesus would treat all people. However, God does not approve of homosexuality (this is clearly stated in the Bible), and calling the homosexual relationship "marriage" is violating God's laws. People must understand the holy nature of God. Marriage is God's holy sacrament, and it is crossing a line that should never be crossed to call the homosexual relationship "marriage", and until recently, that line has never been crossed in history, and it is blasphemy. It is taking our nation away from God, and when a nation gets away from God's protection and guidance, bad things happen, and much worse things are going to happen. Every nation and culture in history that has embraced homosexuality has ended up in destruction.

There is never a medical reason to do an abortion to save the life of the mother. In the rare (less than 1 % of pregnancies) case of severe hypertension (pre-eclampsia), which almost always occurs at 5 months of gestation or beyond, ob-gyn doctors do not do an abortion and kill the baby. Indeed, since a partial birth abortion takes three days, it is not quick enough to save the life of the mother. Instead, the baby is delivered, and if it can survive it is is put in an incubator. If it perishes, it is from a natural death and not from being forcefully killed by an abortion.

And there should be no exception for rape or incest. James Robison, the famous evangelist, who the Lord has used to save thousands of souls in Africa, and who also feeds thousands of children in Africa who would otherwise starve, told me he was the product of rape. Everyone was telling his mother to get an abortion, but she said she knew the Lord wanted her to have this baby, and when it was born she dedicated it to the Lord. And the Lord made one of the greatest evangelists of all time! Any child, whether born in wedlock, out of wedlock, through rape, or through incest, if dedicated to the Lord can have a great life.

All life begins at conception, and embryonic stem cell research, which creates human life in order to destroy it, even to possibly help other humans, is morally wrong. If you extrapolate it out further, you can see it would be wrong to clone humans in order to harvest their organs to benefit other humans. And euthanasia, which is legal in Oregon where doctors kill over 30 people a year, is morally wrong. Even the ancient Greek doctor, Hippocrates, knew better than to do that. The Hippocratic Oath, which medical students take on the day they become doctors, says "I will not give a pressary to cause abortion", and "I will not give a poison for suicide, nor will I suggest such a course". Doctors are to uphold life, not to take life. Human life is precious to God, and must be preserved.

And I am the only candidate who, unless Iran immediately stops their interference in Iraq, and immediately gives up their nuclear program, will bomb Iran's 24 nuclear sites, and Ahmadinejad and the Mullahs' headquarters, and stop Iran from getting nukes and starting World War III where 200 million or more people may die. Also this will enable us to finally win the War in Iraq, once we stop Iran's massive interference. If we do not do this, and we let Iran get nukes, we are doomed.

Our campaign is already having a lot of success. I went on "The Chairman's Tour of Iowa" June 11 and 12, giving speeches in Sioux City, Des Moines, and Cedar Rapids with Ray Hoffmann, Chairman of the Iowa GOP; my friend, General Tom McInerney, who the Iowa GOP asked me to invite; Senator Sam Brownback; and John Cox. We were on television in each city, and we got a lot of applause at each stop. I won the first Straw Poll held in Rhode Island in May, beating Romney by 2 to 1 in his own back yard. Giuliani and McCain came in 3rd and 4th. And I spoke to over 200 Republicans at an event in South Carolina. The Governor of South Carolina spoke, and then Senator Lindsey Graham spoke, and then Senator Jim DeMint spoke, and then I spoke, and I do believe I got the greatest applause!
