Regional Legislative Coffees, featuring Rep. Geri Huser, Sen. Dennis
Black, and Polk County Supervisor Tom Hockensmith will be held at
the Altoona Campus, 1500 8th St. SW, from 9 to 11 a.m. on March 1 and April
5.
News
Release: On Saturday, February 23, 2007 Representative Chuck Soderberg will be
attending a legislative forum beginning at 10 AM, hosted by SIMPCO at the
Siouxland Senior Center, to discuss various issues concerning the Iowa
Legislature. The public is invited and encouraged to attend the meetings and
address any issues that are of concern.
Eggs and Issues -
Legislative Public Forum
The Oskaloosa Area Chamber & Development Group is sponsoring "Eggs and Issues,"
a legislative forum that gives area residents an opportunity to learn more about
state, county and local issues. The public is invited to attend.
WHEN: Second and Fourth
Saturdays during the legislative session starting Jan. 12.
Breakfast items can be ordered from Smokey Row's menu.
The January 12 session will address local issues. The remaining sessions will
address state issues.
Location: Smokey Row, west side of the square, downtown Oskaloosa
