Our Mission

"Believing that if there is no moral order, there will be no political or social order, the Iowa Christian Alliance is committed in a conscious effort to develop the integrity and leadership needed to guide our fellow citizens toward the traditional values on which our national strength and survival depends."

You can help the Christian Coalition of Iowa put that mission statement into action through your prayers, involvement and financial support.  The Coalition's purpose is as follows:

       1.   REPRESENT Christians and advocate Christian values by all lawful means before the United State Congress, the Iowa State Legislature and local councils.

       2.   TRAIN Christians for effective political action, with particular emphasis on preparing them to serve as responsible citizens, activists, and political candidates.

       3.   INFORM Christians in a timely manner of important issues and legislation to enable them communicate with public officials at the federal, state, and local levels.

       4.   EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE Christian values in the public arena and speak out in the media on Christian causes and issues.

       5.   PROTEST ANTI-CHRISTIAN BIGOTRY and hold accountable those individuals, corporations or agencies that seem to denigrate, defame or discriminate against Christian values and those who hold them.  To engage in legal and political action to protect the  freedoms guaranteed under the United States Constitution.
