STATEMENT FROM CHRISTIAN COALITION OF IOWA BOARD
Regarding Christian Coalition of America
In response to recent reports of the difficulties occurring within the
organization, we are saddened to hear about the current problems facing the
Christian Coalition of America (CCA). CCA, under the fine direction of
individuals such as Ralph Reed, Don Hodel, and Randy Tate has acted as a mentor
organization for many others that followed in the battle for the heart and soul
of our country.
We wish our supporters to know that Christian Coalition of Iowa operates in
complete autonomy from the national organization bearing the same name, and has
been acting as a completely independent organization for several years.
Christian Coalition of Iowa is both fiscally and spiritually solvent. We remain
committed to our mission statement.
"Believing that if there is no moral order, there will be no political or social
order, the Christian Coalition of Iowa is committed in a conscious effort to
develop the integrity and leadership needed to guide our fellow citizens toward
the traditional values on which our national strength and survival depends."
Christian Coalition of Iowa, although disappointed by the events surrounding the
national organization, is not, and will not be thwarted in its mission to
strengthen traditional values. Over the past several years, the board has been
encouraged by the intense grassroots and donor growth experienced within the
state organization and we look forward top continued progress and expansion.
