Romney Joins ICA for Third House Party
Approximately one hundred ICA activists gathered in Council Bluffs on Tuesday, July 2, for ICA's house party with 2008 presidential candidate, Mitt Romney. Thanks to the generosity of hosts David and Jody Edwards, the crowd enjoyed wonderful food and fellowship and a beautiful backyard setting in which to hear Governor Romney.
Romney, who was accompanied by his wife Ann, spoke for approximately thirty minutes before taking several questions from the audience. His speech touched on a variety of issues and focused on his desire for America to promote a culture that preserves families, faith, and freedom.
The event was ICA's third house party with a 2008 Presidential candidate. All house parties of this nature are designed to give ICA activists an opportunity to meet the candidates, become informed of their policy positions, and ask them the tough questions. ICA does not endorse any candidates.
ICA is currently extending invitations to all potential 2008 Presidential hopefuls. ICA will not endorse candidates and hosts these individuals, regardless of their views on issues, as an educational service to our constituency.
