Hosts Dr. Laurence White

At Orange City Pro-Family Event

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, DES MOINES, IOWA, May 18, 2007 – Iowa Christian Alliance, formerly known as Christian Coalition of Iowa, is pleased to host special guest Dr. Laurence White at its pro-family dinner in Orange City, Iowa on Thursday, May 24.

The event, which will be held on the Northwestern College campus, will bring together a throng of Northwest Iowa’s key activists and will feature Dr. White’s pro-life, pro-family message.

“We are excited that Dr. White will be joining us for our Orange City Event. He is a compelling speaker who is nationally renowned, and his inspirational message will motivate all who attend. With the Iowa caucuses looming on the horizon, Dr. White’s visit serves as a timely reminder of the importance of pro-family issues in the political arena, said Iowa Christian Alliance president, Steve Scheffler.

Dr. White is pastor of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas and is a regular speaker on broadcasts such as Dr. Dobson’s “Focus on the Family,” Tony Perkin’s “Family Research Council,” Beverly LaHaye’s “Concerned Women For America,” and D. James Kennedy’s “Reclaiming America.”

The Orange City event will be held in the Vermeer Dining Hall at the De Witt Center from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Several presidential candidates are also slated to attend and will be given an opportunity to address the audience.
