Iowa Christian Alliance

Hosts Governor Mitt Romney

At Dubuque House Party

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, DES MOINES, IOWA, November 28, 2007 – Iowa Christian Alliance is pleased to host former Massachusetts Governor and 2008 presidential candidate, Mitt Romney at its Dubuque house party on Friday, November 30 from 5:30-7:30 P.M.

The event, which will take place at the home of hosts Ron and Becky Herrig, will provide Eastern Iowa activists an opportunity to meet Governor Romney and become familiar with his policy positions. “We are thrilled that Gov. Romney has accepted our invitation to introduce himself to ICA supporters and discuss the important issues facing our nation,” stated Steve Scheffler, ICA’s president.

The Dubuque house party is part of a continuing series of events designed to provide an opportunity to meet the Presidential candidates and discuss the issues facing our nation. “ICA does not endorse any candidates. However, we do feel strongly about providing a forum for our activists to get to know the candidates and ask them the tough questions. We appreciate each candidate who has joined us,” continued Scheffler.

“As the Iowa caucuses become imminent, we want to make sure that all of our supporters are well informed about each candidate’s policy positions.  Each of these house parties plays an important role in that educational process,” continued Scheffler.

RSVP and exact event location information may be obtained by contacting Iowa Christian Alliance at (515) 971-7363 or by logging on to the website at www.iowachristian.com.
