Hosts Governor Mike Huckabee

At Cedar Rapids House Party

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, DES MOINES, IOWA, December 17, 2007—Iowa Christian Alliance is pleased to host former Arkansas governor and 2008 presidential candidate, Mike Huckabee, at its Cedar Rapids house party fundraiser on Thursday, December 20, from 5:30-7:30 P.M.

The event, which will be hosted by Bernie and Nancy Hayes and Bob and Patti Klaus, will provide Eastern Iowa activists an opportunity to meet Governor Huckabee and become familiar with his policy positions. “We are excited that Governor Huckabee will be joining us for the evening to introduce himself to ICA supporters and discuss the important issues facing our nation,” stated Steve Scheffler, ICA’s president.

The Cedar Rapids house party is part of a continuing series of events designed to provide an opportunity to meet the Presidential candidates. “Though ICA does not endorse candidates, we do feel strongly about providing a forum for our activists to get to know the candidates and ask them the tough questions. As the Iowa caucuses become imminent, we want to make sure that all of our supporters are well informed about each candidate’s policy positions,” continued Scheffler.

RSVP and exact event information may be obtained by contacting Iowa Christian Alliance or by logging on to the website at www.iowachristian.com.
