Hosts Senator John McCain

At Cedar Falls House Party

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, DES MOINES, IOWA, December 26, 2007—Iowa Christian Alliance is pleased to host 2008 Presidential Candidate Senator John McCain at its Cedar Falls house party fundraiser on Thursday, December 27 from 6:30-8:00 P.M.

The event, which will be held at the Park Place Events Centre at the Pipac Centre on the Lake, will provide Eastern Iowa activists an opportunity to meet Senator McCain and become familiar with his policy positions. “We are excited that Senator McCain will be joining us for the evening to introduce himself to ICA supporters and discuss the important issues facing our nation,” stated Steve Scheffler, ICA’s president.

The Cedar Falls house party is part of a continuing series of events designed to provide an opportunity to meet the Presidential candidates. “Though ICA does not endorse candidates, we do feel strongly about providing a forum for our activists to get to know the candidates and ask them the tough questions. As the Iowa caucuses become imminent, we want to make sure that all of our supporters are well informed about each candidate’s policy positions,” continued Scheffler.
